Apple and Android

Directions for transfering ebooks to your Apple/Android device.

You'll need to install the Overdrive Media Console App to read ebooks from the library.

• Go to the App Store (Google Play for Android) and search for and install the Overdrive Media Console app.
• The first time you launch the Overdrive Media Console you'll need to enter your card # and a PIN. Your Card # is the number under your library barcode in your agenda book. Your PIN is your computer login password.
• Click “Add a Library”
• Type in “Forestview Middle School” and click “Search”
• Click on the little arrow to the right of the school name (or click on the school) to go to the ebook catalog.
• You will be asked to sign in using your AdobeID. If you don’t have one, click on the Register at Adobe.com link and follow those directions. You won't have to enter this information again.

• Click “Get Books” in the upper right hand corner (or press Menu and select Get Books)
• Search for an ebook
• Click the green "Borrow" button. (The purple Wait button means the book is checked out. You can reserve it if you click that button.)
• Click "Continue Checkout"
  
• In "My Locker" click Download and select the EPUB eBook format.
  
• Click OK
  
• Click "Download EPUB"
• The book will appear on the main Overdrive page and you can click it open.
