You can search for books in 3 ways: - Browse categories
- Quick search using a term (shorter the better)
- Advanced Search
You can put a book on Hold. You will be notified by email when the ebook is available. If you are under 13, you will be asked to enter your parents email address before you can put a book on hold. This is due to a law called the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Read more about this law here.
Some books are available only to 7th/8th graders who have a signed Mature Reader slip on file with the FMS library.
How to Check Out a Book
- Go to the FMS Digital Library
- Search for an ebook
- Select the correct format (Kindle, ePub)
- Add to Cart
- Proceed to Checkout
- Sign In (unless you have already). Your Card # is the number under your library barcode in your agenda book. Your PIN is your computer login password.
- Select your Lending Period (14/21 days)
- Confirm Check Out
- The next next step depends on your device. See the help pages on the left.
