South Campus Media Center

 Welcome to the South Campus Media Center. We are open every day from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Computers are available to students for academic and recreational purposes (within our guidelines).

Our Media Center is the main source of reading material for students at South Campus. We have approximately 5,000 titles that are of high interest and varied reading levels for our students.

AR Reading

Our English Department uses the Renaissance Learning reading program, Accelerated Reader (AR), to monitor reading progress by all of our students. Every student is expected to use time scheduled into every day to read for enjoyment. Students take a short quiz to show that they have completed the book and provide a record for their teachers. We have found that this program contributes to the excellent reading scores our students earn on standardized tests.
