More information about Top 20 Training for Thursday, February 2, 2012:
Most of our educators in ISD 181 have participated in a Top 20 Training. It focuses on developing potential within ourselves as well as others. The focus in more on our Emotional Intelligence (EQ), not Intellectual Quotient (IQ).
Let me pose this question: What are employers looking for these days when hiring new employees? They want good work ethic, perserverence, someone who can manage their emotions, effective communicators, those who can resolve conflict in a professional manner, leadership, and someone who will show up for work on time.
Here's another question: What do we look for in relationships? Trustworthy, dependable, honest, respectful, etc. In these real life experiences, grades or our IQ is not what comes into play. It's our EQ, or how we TLC--how we Think, Learn, and Communicate.
Trudi Storbakken and Alison Medeck are offering this Top 20 Training for adult community members because they can share personal experiences about how these concepts have transformed the way they Think, Learn and Communicate, and the results they are achieving in their personal and professional lives. They are passionate about helping others develop their potential and are excited to share this valuable information with you!
