Harrison Elementary School Lisa Morgan, Principal ![]() |
We will teach and reach ALL students in ALL places using ALL of our resources.
Dear Staff and Families,
Harrison is a wonderful neighborhood school located on the southeast side of Brainerd. The school was established in 1939 serving students in various grades. Currently, Harrison is a two-section school with grades Kindergarten through 4th Grade. We have many programs to support and achieve excellence in learning and behaviors. We have over 230 students and an incredible staff of 42 people. Our school mascot is a hawk and our school-wide behavior plan focuses on HAWKS Pride which stands for Have Respect, Act Responsibly, Work Together, Keep Safe and Soar to Success.
We meet as a whole school the first Monday of every month for a Harrison HAWKS Gathering. During our school gatherings, we sing our school song, recite the Pledge, discuss positive character traits and learning habits and honor students. Students who demonstrate exemplar qualities are selected as an Honorary HAWKS.
Each month we send a newsletter, Harrison Highlights, and post it on the website. You will find many helpful resources on this site, from events and activities to teacher websites and links to support learning. We invite you to join our HFTA, which is a parent/teacher group to support children in our school.
We appreciate the support from our parents and community. If you are interested in supporting Harrison HAWKS, call the school at 454-6500.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Morgan |
Parents, please check into the office whenever you visit the school, even if you are just dropping something off. Thanks! |
