Develop Independent Living Skills
Students will work in kitchen groups of 4-5 people depending on class size. Students will change kitchen groups every three weeks. Labs are planned and students assigned food preparation jobs and clean up jobs rotate each lab.
Notebooks will be provided and remain in the classroom. It is the student's responsibility to maintain their folder. Folders will be graded throughout the semester. Students must always have something to write with in class.

Living On Your Own is an elective class for juniors and seniors one semester in length. Students with a 2.0 or higher GPA may also earn 1 credit in Money Management Skills through Central Lakes College as part of the College in the School program.
