COVID-19:

COVID-19 is a disease caused by coronavirus germs that pass easily from one person to another. This affects a person’s nose, throat, and sometimes lungs. Symptoms can include fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, headache, muscle pain, congestion or runny nose, sore throat, fatigue, or loss of taste or smell. Other less common symptoms include stomach symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Exclusion from school only if fever is present. It is recommended to follow the Minnesota Department of Health Guidelines if you test positive for COVID-19 infection.

ILLNESS GUIDELINES:
  • If your student is sick, stay home.
  • Please update attendance as soon as possible at your child's school.
  • Return to school when:
    • Student is no longer sick or symptoms have improved.
    • Student has been fever free for 24 hours without taking any fever-reducing medication (such as tylenol or ibuprofen)
    • Student is able to perform duties without difficulty
    • Continue to practice mitigation practices such as frequent hand washing, social distancing and avoiding large groups.
