The Board of Education of Brainerd Public School's eagerly accepted the recommendation to hire Aaron Sinclair as the incoming Assistant Superintendent of Schools. Aaron is replacing Director of Schools William Severson, who retired on June 30, after serving the district with distinction for the past 43 years.
Sinclair joins Brainerd Public Schools with 17 years of educational experience. He served 10 years at Little Falls Community Schools in several capacities, including: English teacher; Athletic and Activities Director; head football coach; and most currently as the Assistant Superintendent of Schools/Human Resources Director. Aaron's reputation for partnering and pursuing educational excellence are prominent.
Superintendent Laine Larson could not be more excited with the District's choice of Mr. Sinclair for Assistant Superintendent. She stated, "Aaron and I will work very well together. Our philosophy of education, our background knowledge in student success, and our vision for the future of Brainerd Public Schools run parallel with one another. I believe that our leadership styles are collaborative and cooperative as we work together to communicate our District's vision and mission with the Board of Education, staff, students, families and community. I am SO excited to have Aaron on our Warrior Team!"
Sinclair is described by his former supervisor as an exemplary communicator and leader who made an incredible impact on students, staff, families, and the Little Falls Community Schools system.
Sinclair added, "I am truly excited to join the Brainerd Public Schools, and I look forward to partnering with students, staff, and the community to provide the best possible education for all students. I feel lucky to serve the students and staff of this amazing district."
