Honors Courses are available to grade 9 students in the following areas: English, science, social studies, and math. |
Advanced Placement (AP) |
College-level coursework for students as early as their sophomore year. AP exams enable students to earn university credit and/or advanced university standing based on their examination scores. |
Advanced Standing Certificate (ASC) |
Career and technical courses are developed by high school and college faculty. Students may earn college credits at Central Lakes College while attending high school. |
College in the Schools (CIS) |
Courses taught by high school instructors for college credit. These courses can be transferred to Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. |
College Level Examination Program (CLEP) |
Provides students of any age the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses. |
Online Learning: Infinity |
An opportunity for secondary students to participate in individual computer-instructed, interactive courses that meet or exceed state academic standards. |
College courses that may be taken for high school credit on a college campus. |
