Various BPS facilities serve as Ancillary Archives of BPSA, holding BPSA accessioned material.
In addition, the
Crow Wing County Historical Society has extensive BPS archival material protected and preserved for the many years BPS lacked archives.
The forerunner of
Central Lakes College (CLC), known as Brainerd State Junior College, was established by the Brainerd School Board in 1938. It provided classes on the third floor of Washington Educational Services Building. The early history of CLC is part of the history of Brainerd Public Schools. CLC maintains an archive which includes material from the former Brainerd State Junior College beginning to current day.
