Baxter/Brainerd Parks and Recreation, along with the Brainerd Public Schools Community Education department work in conjunction to provide recreation programs.

Through a Joint Powers agreement with the City of Baxter and as a service to the community, Brainerd Public Schools Community Education coordinates the City's youth recreation programs. Programs include baseball, softball, flag football and soccer.
