Brainerd Public Schools

Nominations for the Brainerd Public Schools Teacher of the Year are open today, Monday, February 12, and will run through Friday, February 23rd.  

Anyone may nominate a teacher. Teachers who have been nominated will be contacted in early March. Teachers who accept the nomination will complete a written application. The Teacher of the Year will be selected by a group of community members from the submitted applications. There will be no interviews.

Eligible nominees must:

• Teach in the Brainerd Public School District
• Hold a baccalaureate degree and a Minnesota teaching license.
• Have completed three years of teaching by the nomination deadline, and
• Intend to teach during the 2018-2019 school year.
