Who to Contact

Questions, Concerns, and Suggestions

  • Brainerd Public Schools (BPS) values healthy relationships and equipping all adults to support our students’ learning and growth. We encourage strong partnerships and are focused on solutions and equity. Coming together to find solutions, when one person/group has questions or concerns, is how we best serve each other and our students, families, staff, and learning community.
  • BPS seeks to promote communication and clear processes for resolving issues or addressing questions that may arise. The steps outlined below support direct, open, and respectful interactions so that problems and concerns can be worked out quickly and efficiently.
  • Questions or concerns should start with the staff member or members listed in Step 1, as that person will usually have the most information. We understand that, at times, additional personnel may need to be involved to resolve specific situations.
  • Contact information for staff members and other key contacts is linked below. If you have a question or concern, please follow the steps under the relevant topic. We understand that unique situations, though rare, may arise that are not listed below. In such a unique situation, we recommend starting with the building principal.
  • BPS makes every effort to respond to requests or concerns as quickly as possible. Please allow 2 business days for educators, teachers, supervisors, and administrators to respond to queries.

Your questions and concerns matter. BPS is here to support you.

For informal events, contact Kelli directly to arrange for school board participation. Kelli may also provide support with accessing board policies, regular and special board meetings, agendas, and minutes as well as how to become a board member.
