High School Gifted Program

Advanced Placement (AP)

College-level coursework for students as early as their sophomore year. AP exams enable students to earn university credit and/or advanced university standing based on their examination scores.

Advanced Standing Articulated Credit (ASC)

Career and technical courses are developed by high school and college faculty. Students may earn college credits at Central Lakes College and St. Cloud State University while attending high school.

College in the Schools (CIS)

Courses taught by high school instructors for college credit. These courses can be transferred to colleges and universities.

Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO)

College courses that may be taken for high school credit on a college campus.
