The Brainerd Lakes Area Future Problem Solvers will represent Minnesota in the annual International Competition, which will be at Indiana University Bloomington from June 10-14.

The six competitors from Brainerd will be among Future Problem Solvers from 37 states and 14 countries.

The international topic is forests.

Four Future Problem Solving teams representing the Brainerd area competed in the Minnesota State Future Problem Solving competition this March. Students competed in both the Global Issues Problem Solving Competition and the Presentation of Action Plan Competition. Six students competed in creative writing this year as well.
